Job description

How You'll Make an Impact :

  • Oversee Food Service and Nutrition staff to ensure the world-class level of service is provided to all patients and residents.
  • Monitor weekly work schedules to reflect business needs and key performance indicators.
  • Lead staff effectively, maintaining standards in service delivery and event setup.
  • Achieve exceptional service levels for patients and residents through employee training, performance management, and leadership.
  • Visit patients to review diet concerns, supplement acceptance, diet discrepancies, allergy concerns, and follow up on RD referrals, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Provide feedback and assist with staffing for frontline positions, including recommending interview candidates as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and local rules, policies, and regulations related to food safety, fire safety, hazard safety, and security.
  • Prepare and review daily setup for functions carefully.
  • Maintain proper par stocks for supplies and assist in inventory management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

What You'll Need to Succeed :

  • Food and Nutrition Management diploma and active food safety training certificate.
  • At least 2 years of experience supervising diverse teams in a healthcare environment.
  • CBORD experience required.
  • Solid knowledge of WHMIS and Food and Nutrition Management.
  • Proven ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills, anticipate project needs, discern priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Computer literacy.
  • Strong customer relations skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
