Food Service Supervisor

Location: 4809 Joyce Ave, Powell River, BC V8A 3B7

Work site environment: Noisy

Work setting: Food service establishment, Restaurant

Salary: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour (to be negotiated), 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Early Morning, Morning

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Establish work schedules
