Food Service Supervisor

Location: 925 Marine Drive Wal-Mart - Capilano Mall, North Vancouver, BC V7P 1S2

Salary: $20.00/hour, 30 to 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time (Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Morning)

Starts as soon as possible

Education

• No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years

Work Setting

• Staff accommodation available

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
• Establish work schedules

Supervision

• Food service counter attendants and food preparers
• Kitchen and food service helpers
