Job summary

A well-known coffee and fast-food chain in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Supervisor to manage food preparation activities. The ideal candidate will oversee staff, ensure compliance with quality standards, and address customer concerns. A high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in a similar role are required. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive hourly pay.

  • Knowledge of culinary genres is necessary.

Responsibilities
Tasks
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
