Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
We are seeking a Food Service Supervisor with the following qualifications and responsibilities:
Minimum Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Work Setting
- Willing to relocate
- Hotel, motel, resort
Tasks
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
Supervision
- Supervise 3-4 staff members, including cooks, food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, food preparers, and kitchen helpers
Security and Safety
- Basic security clearance required
