Food Service Supervisor

Location: Leduc, AB

Work setting: Restaurant, On-site

Salary: $18.65 per hour, 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time, Starts as soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure food and service meet quality standards
• Address customer complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare food order summaries for the chef
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres

Supervision

• 1 to 2 people, including kitchen and food service helpers

Work conditions and physical capabilities

• Standing for extended periods

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience

Additional information

• Work must be completed on-site; remote work not available
