Chartwells Higher Education in London, Ontario, seeks a Food Service Supervisor to assist the Manager on duty with coordinating associates and delivering outstanding customer service across the food service department.

You will supervise about 15 staff, manage schedules, train team on brand standards, lead cost control and inventory, and ensure safety and compliance with CGC policies and provincial regulations.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of operation food industry management experience.
• Comprehensive health and safety knowledge and training.
• Knowledge of food service catering.
• Strong supervisory skills and the ability to motivate and lead staff.
• Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate activities of associates within the food service department and ensure excellent customer service.
• Lead on-site operations, staffing, production, and service flow across multiple locations.
• Supervise ~15 staff, ensure CGC standards and brand requirements.
• Develop staff schedules and ensure training completion.
• Conduct product costing, inventory, procurement, and cash handling.
• Ensure food safety, storage, rotation, and waste management.
