The Village of Aspen Lake, located in Windsor, Ontario, has an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Manager to join their Long-Term Care Team.

To be successful as our new Food Service Manager, you will:

• Have proven experience in large quantity food preparation and food purchasing;
• Have experience leading and inspiring a large food services team;
• Be familiar with Ontario Food Premises Regulation, CCHSA, Ontario Long Term Care Facility Program manual, Long Term Care Homes Act, and OH&S Act;
• Be an active member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (C.S.N.M.).

It would be an asset if our new Food Service Manager has:

• Knowledge of the nutritional needs of seniors.

As a new Food Service Manager, you will:

• Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of hospitality services to our residents;
• Lead and support the food service team with hands-on training, coaching, and leadership while maintaining the food services department to exceed Public Health and Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards;
• Ensure that diet and nutritional requirements are met, conduct regular assessments, and plan catering functions to create an enhanced dining experience for our residents;
• Manage purchasing, department schedules, and payroll duties.
