Salary: CAD $18 - $20 per hour

Position: Permanent Full Time

Main Duties

1. Clears and busses tables;
2. Resets tables with clean dishes, flatware and other items;
3. Fills condiment containers and other supplies in serving areas;
4. Performs other duties such as scraping and stacking dishes, and running errands;
5. Takes customer orders;
6. Maintains strong hygiene and cleanliness standards;
7. Uses equipment to prepare beverages such as coffee, tea, and other beverages;
8. Portions, assembles, and wraps food or places it directly on plates for service to patrons, and packages take-out food;
9. May operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various products, such as food, catering, and supplies;
10. Stocks refrigerators and salad bars and keeps records of the quantities of food used;
11. Collects payments from customers;
12. May assist with basic food preparation;
13. Washes work tables, shelves, and appliances;
14. Removes trash and cleans kitchen garbage containers;
15. Ensures that washrooms are clean;
16. Unpacks and stores supplies in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas;
17. Sweeps and mops floors, and performs other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff;
18. Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dishwasher or by hand;
19. Scours pots and pans and may clean and polish silverware.
