Dexterra Hospitality Inc is seeking a Food Services Associate / Cashier to join our fast-paced food service team. You will greet customers, help with menu selections, process cash and electronic payments, and keep work areas clean and stocked, while following all safety and sanitation guidelines.

This Monday–Friday position offers about 3 hours per shift in a 10-12 week term with a possible extension. Prior 1–2 years in food service or customer service is preferred, with reliable cash-handling

As aFood ServicesAssociate / Cashier, reporting to the Cashier supervisor, the Food Service Associate/Cashier is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and handling cash and electronic payment transactions accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including wiping tables and restocking supplies.
• Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in food service andcustomer service is required.
• Friendly and dependable individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and operate payment systems accurately.
• Basic math skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing for extended periods.
• This is a Monday-Friday position. Averaging approximately 3 hours per shift. This is 10-12 week term position with the possibility of extension
• Must be able to be on their feet for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs to put away and retrieve stock.
