Job description

As a Cashier reporting to the Chef Manager, you will perform a variety of customer service tasks within the food services function. This position requires excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. Growth opportunities are possible for the right candidate.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Remain an ambassador of goodwill, ethics, and great client relations at all times on behalf of Dana Hospitality.
  2. Provide customer service support to create exceptional culinary experiences.
  3. Maintain speed of service standards.
  4. Listen to customers (internal and external) and respond professionally, escalating concerns as needed.
  5. Collect and count cash accurately.
  6. Sweep the kitchen floor and maintain a clean workspace.
  7. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of tools and equipment (knives, ovens, cleaning materials), wearing personal protective equipment (non-slip shoes, cut-resistant gloves), and complying with FoodSafe and/or ServeSafe standards, including recording temperature-sensitive food items.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the hospitality/food service industry.
  • Food Safety certification.
  • WHMIS training (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional and punctual.
  • Quick learner and able to work independently.
