Description

The Village of Arbour Trails has an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Aide to join their team.

• Status: Part-Time
• Location: 32 Bayberry Dr, ON N1G 0C9
• Start Date: TBD

The hiring rate for this role is $19.35 per collective agreement/employee association agreement

Successful candidates will be required to provide an acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and acceptable Tuberculosis (TB) screening test before starting.

As a new Food Services team member (FSA), you will:

• Completion of the Food Services Worker training program is an asset
• Hold a valid Food Handlers certification (Please upload current certification with your resume)
• Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members;
• Be able to lift up to 35lbs;
• Have exceptional time management sills and ability to work in collaboration with a team;
• Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents ensuring we meet residents' diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques;
• Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents;
• Food Service Team Members at Schlegel Villages assist with the preparation of catering functions and events, and maintaining a clean dining room and workspace.
