Job description

Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Flik, you'll play an integral role in ensuring world-class food and workplace safety. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a team dedicated to excellence and innovation in food service! Key Responsibilities:
  1. Promote, implement, maintain, and verify Quality Assurance (QA) and safety reporting standards
  2. Provide written feedback to unit managers and chefs regarding non-compliance observations
  3. Work with managers to find solutions to QA challenges and crises
  4. Liaise with clients, senior management, unit managers, and chefs on all QA issues
  5. Participate in all BOH inspections and external audits
  6. Train associates on all QA policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records
  7. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of food service experience required
  • 2 years of food safety inspection/auditing experience recommended
  • Knowledge of food safety (FDA food code) required
  • ServeSafe certification required
  • CP-FS credential recommended
  • 10 Hour OSHA Certification recommended
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and complete projects diligently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to converse calmly and effectively during crisis situations
  • Effective at planning and paying close attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively without supervision, showing initiative, good judgment, and outstanding decision-making and problem-solving skills.
