Job summary

Woodbine Entertainment is seeking a fixed-term, part-time Food Runner/Busser to support our hospitality team at the venue in Toronto. The role focuses on delivering food to guests, assisting servers, and maintaining a polished dining room to ensure an excellent guest experience.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of service experience in a hotel or dining environment, basic knowledge of food, wine and liquor, and hold Smart Serve and Food Handler certificates.

THIS IS A FIXED-TERM PART-TIME POSITION

Duties

• Food Runner - Delivering food to customers while ensuring they receive the correct order
• Busser – assist the servers with clearing, sanitizing and resetting tables
• Consistently deliver excellence in service, product presentation and venue image
• Deliver, maintain and exceed customer service quality standards as established by F&B Department
• Consistently deliver excellence in service, product presentation and venue image
• Advise Supervisor of any occurrences which may compromise or be damaging to positive customer relations
• Advise Supervisor of any occurrences which may impede operational efficiency

Qualifications

Pay rate :

$17.65 during probation and $18.65 after probation period
