Job Title: Food Production Worker (PM shift Heavy Duty)

Duration of employment: Permanent full-time position
Employer: International Food Manufacturer
Location: Mitchell Island, Richmond, BC
No public transit available — personal vehicle required. On-site parking provided.
Starting Date: ASAP
Regular Work hours: Monday - Friday, 2pm-10:30pm (Includes a 30-min unpaid meal break and a 20-min paid coffee break.)
Compensation: $19.50/hour to start
Benefits: Group Insurance (extended health, dental, vision care, prescription drugs, etc.) after 3-month Probationary Period.
Discounted or free meals. On-site parking.
The company will provide uniforms and shoes

Main Job duties:
- Safety, quality, sanitation, and production standards are followed and maintained
- Assembling, disassembling, and cleaning equipment/work areas
- Cutting, inspecting, seasoning, and mixing ingredients
- Packaging the final products into the container and scanning through the metal detector
- Vacuum sealing, labeling, and taping finished products
- Following schedule to prepare ingredients for the day and the next day
- Placing boxes on pallets. Wrapping pallets with labels on them
- Providing reports and updates to managers
- Other production related duties assigned by managers

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Good communication skills (able to listen, speak, read, and write in English)
- Able to operate production machinery efficiently and safely
- Able to follow directions in fast-paced environment
- Able to lift up to 30 kg
- Forklift experience an asset
