FOOD PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER - PRODUCTION TEAMMATE

Location and hours

  • Manitoba Food Factory : 9-1393 Border St, Winnipeg, MB R3H 0N1 | Sunday to Saturday : 2:00 am to 7:00 pm

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sushi and other products including cooking rice, preparation of raw ingredients, sushi rolling, cutting, sorting, and packaging.
  • Ensure all operating standards including food safety are adhered to and final products meet quality standards.
  • Wash all pots, pans, utensils, etc., and clean kitchen equipment as per cleaning schedule.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with teammates to promote a productive and efficient environment.

Qualifications

  • You thrive in a highly repetitive task environment.
  • Able to work in a refrigerated, cold climate (10°C working climate, 4°C for walk-in refrigerator, -18°C for walk-in freezer).
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb) and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible to work various shifts and weekends.
