Candidates should have a high school diploma, food industry cleaning experience, and strong communication skills. The position requires physical work, flexibility, and compliance with background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a sanitation group of 10-12 in a food plant.
• Mentor new hires and support team goals.
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed.
• Provide leadership and clear instructions to the team.
• Track materials, tool, and inventory needs.
• Complete cleaning, safety, and required documentation.
• Operate ladders, scaffolding, or elevated platforms as needed.
• Maintain floor machines and vacuums; perform preventive maintenance.
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Schedule Hours:

Full Time, Panama Schedule, 12 hour rotating shifts

This role is responsible for supervising a sanitation team in a food‑manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Managing/ Supervising a group of 10-12 Sanitation Cleaners in a food production environment.
• Supports employees to reach goals and mentors new hires
• Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed as required.
• Provide leadership and instructions to others in a group to complete tasks quickly and effectively.
• Tracks material, tool, and inventory needs
• Complete cleaning, safety, and other required documentation as needed.
• Clean areas/overheads require ladders, scaffolding, extension equipment or mobile elevated platforms.
• Complete all cleaning tasks as required. Both manually or using power scrubbing equipment.
• Maintains and conducts preventative maintenance procedures on floor machines, vacuums.
• Mechanical aptitude required
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
• Wear employer-specified protective gear, including two pairs of gloves, face/eye shields, aprons, boots, etc.
• Exposure to chemical cleaning solutions (with protective gear)
• Perform varying tasks while standing, lifting, crouching, etc. during extended periods of time.
• Follow all Health and Safety guidelines established by spec for this position.
• Cleaning large areas on multiple levels in an environment that is hot.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Food industry experience and knowledge of cleaning in a food plant environment.
• Strong communications skills, both written and oral, are required.
• A high level of Risk Management and Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stay calm in stressful or high-pressure situations.
• Be flexible and willing to perform varying tasks
• Both written and oral communication skills
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.

PPE:

• Steel Toe Waterproof Boots ($200 covered)
• All other PPE Provided ( bump cap, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.)

Benefits after 3 months, RRSP after 1 year
