- Provides workshops, counseling, and other resources to aid transition into civilian workforce (e.g., adapting to organizational structures).
- Offers flexible onboarding options (e.g., gradually increasing hours and responsibilities).
Support for Indigenous People
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Develops and maintains relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
- Provides cultural competency and awareness training for all employees to promote inclusivity.
Support for Mature Workers
- Applies hiring policies discouraging age discrimination.
- Provides awareness training to foster a welcoming environment for mature workers.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Provides resources for retirement planning (e.g., financial advice, access to pension and benefits, lifestyle adjustments).
Support for Visible Minorities
- Implements hiring policies that discourage discrimination (e.g., anonymized applications).
- Offers mentorship programs pairing members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create an inclusive work environment.
