Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Prep Worker to prepare, portion, and stage meals in accordance with production requirements and Aramark sanitation standards.

You will follow prep lists and Aramark recipes, rotate stock to ensure freshness, label and store leftovers, and keep refrigerators and work areas clean and organized.

This role may require lifting, standing for long periods, and adherence to safety policies; reading, writing, and basic math skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year prep work or food service-related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is helpful.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication with others.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food items using prep lists and standard Aramark recipes.
• Maintains accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness.
• Stores leftovers properly with cover, labeling and dating according to Aramark standards.
• Keeps refrigerators and work areas clean and orderly.
• Ensures stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at shift end.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment conforming to food safety standards and regulations.
• Follows safety policies and completes required training.
