Join our Team at Eckville and Spruce View Food Stores!
We are currently looking for a full-time Food Multi-Site Manager to oversee both our Eckville and Spruce View Food Stores. As the Food Multi-Site Manager, you are reporting to the Division Manager and will be responsible for the organization, direction, and coordination of both the Eckville and Spruce View Food Stores to achieve budgeted goals.
Position: Food Multi-Site Manager
Full-time: 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, administer and be responsible for the sales, margin, inventory and SPEH of all the food departments.
- Ensure department managers adhere to established standards, including safe food handling & sanitation, merchandising, signage, staff appearance, housekeeping, health and safety, and loss prevention.
- Assist and lead in marketing efforts, set advertising standards and create innovative marketing plans.
- Assess food departments' performance, solving customer issues and allocating resources.
- Ensure proper appearance of all facilities, equipment, and image checklist.
- Assist and lead in the preparation of annual business plans and budget and ensure all paperwork is done timely, accurately, and meets policies and procedures.
- Keep familiar and up to date with current and new products on the market.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the store manager.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience leading a department or location within a retail environment (background in food is an asset).
- A diploma or degree in business, management, or a related field would be an asset.
- Financial literacy, able to understand budgets, margins, and scheduling.
- Able to lift products over 55 lbs. regularly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with POS systems.
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
- Demonstrated effective team leadership skills at guiding and motivating teams across multiple generations.
- Approaches situations with sensitivity, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and responds effectively to change.
- Able to assess performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Focused on fostering a positive, motivated workplace culture.
- Experienced in developing team members through guidance and support.
- Demonstrates confidence in addressing challenges directly and giving clear, constructive feedback.
- Ability to adapt to new technology, and tech savvy.
