Job Responsibilities
- Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, milkshakes, and other specialties.
- Properly handles and maintains all equipment.
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils, equipment, and service areas.
- Checks temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, and all equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Describes menu items to customers or suggests products that might appeal to them.
- Provides customers with product details from the menu or preparation descriptions as requested.
- Receives and processes customer payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures.
- Responds to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
- Serves prepared foods to customers quickly and efficiently.
- Stocks customer service stations with snacks.
- Checks inventory and notifies the assistant manager when a product is low in stock.
- Observes relevant health and safety standards.
- Performs other related duties as needed.
Job Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience: A few months to one year of related experience
- Certification: Food Handler / Safety (Mandatory)
- Work: Legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in Canada
- Ability to work part-time including variable hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift boxes of snacks, water bottles, and inventory items.
