Job summary

Next Youth Job in Steinbach, MB is seeking a Food Service Worker to join our growing team as soon as possible. The role involves taking orders, setting up service areas, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with daily operation. Training is provided with no minimum education required.

Responsibilities

• Take Customer’s orders
• Set up food service, kitchen equipment and utensils
• Check food temperature and prepare areas for daily operation; operate equipment as assigned
• Set hot and cold food lines
• Prepare ice cream, yogurt, and/or ice machines
• Serve customers at counters and/or tables
• Replenish stocks
• Clean, wash, and maintain work areas including floors, facility, pots, pans, service ware, utensils and equipment
• Collect garbage and trash
• May receive payments for food items purchased
