Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a hands-on kitchen support role to handle dishwashing, food preparation, and counter service at the onsite location. You will contribute to a clean, efficient dining area and support daily kitchen operations.

The position emphasizes basic food handling, maintaining hygiene, and working as part of a team in a on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a food-service environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
• Place dishes in storage area
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
• Keep records of the quantities of food used
• Package take-out food
• Portion and wrap foods
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars
• Take customers' orders
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
