Job summary

Tim Hortons Québec in Petitcodiac, NB is looking for entry-level restaurant staff. You will handle front counter duties, assist with basic food preparation, keep work areas clean, and greet customers with a friendly approach. The role requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks as part of a busy team.

Flexible hours include mornings, evenings and weekends, with 30 to 40 hours per week. No degree is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
• Take customers' orders at counters or buffet tables.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
• Package take-out food and wrap portions.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies.
• Sweep, mop and wash floors.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment.

• Place dishes in storage area
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
• Keep records of the quantities of food used
• Package take-out food
• Portion and wrap foods
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars
• Take customers' orders
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
