Job summary

Swiss Chalet/Harvey’s in Grimsby, Ontario is seeking a Food counter attendant to join our team. Responsibilities

• The candidate must bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to the serving areas and set tables.
• Keep track of the food quantities consumed.
• Package take-out food.
• Portion and wrap foods.
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Take customer orders.
• Wash, peel, slice, and trim foods using manual and electrical appliances.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
• Wash vegetables and fruits.
