Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate in Edmonton to deliver excellent customer service, maintain and zone the food and consumables area, and assist with stocking and selling goods.

You will rotate stock, check expirations, ensure signage and pricing, and follow cold chain, thermometer calibration, and proper food-handling practices. This on-site role starts from a minimum hourly rate of CAD 16.65.

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
