Job summary

Walmart Canada in Strathmore, AB is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate who provides excellent customer service, maintains the food and consumables area, and assists with stocking and sale of goods.

You will zone the department, rotate stock, ensure proper signage and pricing, and follow cold chain and food-handling standards. The role starts at a minimum rate of $16.65 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
