Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining the food and consumables area. You will help stock, zone shelves, and ensure pricing and labeling accuracy.

The role includes following cold chain and food safety procedures, rotating stock, and adhering to store policies. The position starts at a minimum hourly rate of $18.10 in Canada, with potential for growth based on performance and hours worked.

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
