Job summary

Walmart Canada in Longueuil, QC is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate who delivers exemplary customer service while maintaining the food and consumables area and assisting with stocking and sale of goods.

You will zone the department, rotate stock, ensure shelves are properly signed and priced, and help adhere to cold chain standards including thermometer checks and expiration dates. The minimum pay starts at $18.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organization and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
