Job description

If you are looking for a team that brings out the best in each other, a team that has fun and is proud of their work - we want to hear from you. The Four Points by Sheraton - Kelowna Airport is currently looking for Food & Beverage Support Staff.

We are also on a bus route, with a stop just outside the hotel. Our complimentary shuttle also picks up employees from the bus loop at UBCO.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Answer guests questions about food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
• Communicate with Servers and Hosts to maximize seating.
• Practice a high level of floor awareness and clear/clean as required.
• Manage the proper setup of coffee station, expo pass.
• Run food to tables, ensuring plates arrive to the proper guest.
• Monitor food quality and presentation standards.
• Monitor the cleanliness of your section and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter.
• Follow all food safety standards and systems.
• Communicate any guest comments or information to all Servers to ensure a positive, memorable experience.
• Assist with Banquets, including event setup & takedown, serving, and participation in off-site events.
• Other duties as assigned.
