Job summary

Pursuit in Canada is hiring a Restaurant/F&B Operations Lead to supervise daily dining services across our outlets. You will work closely with the F&B management team to uphold service standards, manage staff, and drive guest satisfaction while maintaining profitability.

This role requires strong leadership, cash handling experience, and the ability to oversee complex operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with the F&B management team to ensure high service standards.
• Assist in supervising outlet staff efficiently.
• Lead the team with positivity and recognize good performance.
• Provide daily oversight of F&B operations, organize functions and logistics, grow sales and profitability, deliver outstanding guest service.
• P&L responsibility for all restaurant aspects.
• Assist recruitment, training, development and retention of staff.
• Anticipate issues and needs to enhance F&B performance.
• Deeply engage in F&B operations to improve staff and guest satisfaction and financial results.
• Provide leadership and coaching to foster problem solving, service, teamwork, and efficiency.
• Prioritize employee and guest safety as a core value.
• Support research and guest satisfaction programs.

Roles & Responsibilites

• Work closely with the food and beverage management team to ensure the highest standards of service are met
• Assist in the efficient supervision of the outlet’s staff
• Leading the team with a positive attitude and recognizing a job well done
• Providing daily oversight of F&B operations, including function and logistics organization, increasing sales and profitability, establishment and consistent delivery of exceptional guest service standards
• P/L responsibility for all aspects of the restaurant
• Assist with the recruitment, training, development and retention of high quality team members
• Anticipate key issues and informational needs and be prepared to discuss ongoing performance and functions that will enhance the performance of food and beverage operations
• Become deeply ingrained in the operations of food and beverage in order to drive employee satisfaction, guest satisfaction and financial performance
• Provide leadership and coaching that fosters an environment of problem solving, service, teamwork, accuracy and speed, improved business practices and attract and retain superior talent on our team
• Make employee and guest safety a cultural cornerstone to maintain our reputation as an industry leader and guest safety advocate
• Provide support to all of the Company’s research and guest satisfaction programs
• All day to day operational issues providing daily supervision to the restaurant
• Assist with training, staffing, development, staff meetings, scheduling and payroll submissions
• Assist with planning and execution of functions
• Ordering, inventory and stock stake
• Coding and remittance of all invoices
• Cross promotion of all Pursuit attractions and divisions

The starting wage for this role is $21.00/hour.
