Food & Beverage Supervisor (Evening)

We are currently hiring for a Food & Beverage Supervisor (Evening) to provide evening supervision in our Skal Restaurant. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is a detail-oriented leader focused on creating outstanding guest experiences and exceptional guest service in the Food & Beverage Outlets and Banquets as required. The role involves working closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure a successful experience for our guests.

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for leading the team in the successful execution of service in the Outlets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service. This position requires an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented leader with a passion for going above and beyond to provide guests with outstanding experiences. The role model exhibits Silver Hotel Group's values, providing hands-on leadership to ensure efficient restaurant operations and a memorable guest experience. The supervisor oversees F&B operations, including outlets and banquets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized and exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Direct, delegate, and coordinate the Skal restaurant team members.
  • Build guest relations with hotel guests, corporate clients, and travelers; network and promote all hotel outlets.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure service standards are met.
  • Assist with Banquets as needed.
  • Work closely with all employees to ensure meeting details and function specifications are executed.
  • Maintain inventories, ensure adequate par levels, and handle requisitions.
  • Ensure team members follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Prepare for and facilitate meetings with employees and management.
  • Maximize seating occupancy and total covers while maintaining high service quality.
  • Coach, motivate, plan, and assist team members daily.
  • Ensure staff adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For...
  • Post-secondary education in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or Culinary fields (preferred).
  • Experience with menu costing and food & beverage cost controls.
  • Established relationships with local food and beverage suppliers (asset).
  • Experience in a unionized environment (preferred).
  • Strong background in menu and service design.
  • Hands-on training approach and leadership style focused on team development and guest service.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and focus on departmental and hotel fiscal results.
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook.
  • Ability to work well with all departments.
