Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our Restaurant and Lounge. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, this role is responsible for supervising and supporting the front-line Associates, ensuring exceptional guest service, operational excellence, and a positive work environment that fosters growth and development.

This position requires open and flexible availability.

As a leader in our Food & Beverage team, you will exemplify our service standards, coach and develop team members, and help drive an environment of innovation, safety, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct, hands-on supervision of Associates in the Restaurant and Lounge, supporting them during shifts and ensuring standards are met.

Promote a high-quality guest experience and positive employee relations through effective leadership and example.

Coach and train Associates on service, cleanliness, and company standards.

Oversee nightly closing procedures and ensure all areas are secure and clean.

Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Ensure Associates are properly attired, prepared for their shifts, and recognized for their contributions.

Document discrepancies or violations of standards and policies.

Support Health & Safety and sanitation compliance at all times.

Assist with executing promotions, events, and banquets as required.

Additional Duties

Conduct weekly audits and coach staff as needed to maintain standards.

Communicate shift challenges and suggest improvements.

Ensure all incidents are documented and staff are retrained where required.

Encourage and participate in hotel-wide events and functions.

Train new team members effectively on expectations and standards.

Maintain clean and organized storage, banquet, and service areas.

Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) daily and ensure proper room setups.

Monitor and manage food and liquor orders.

Attend BEO meetings and provide scheduling input as needed.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

Previous supervisory experience in Food & Beverage or Hospitality is preferred.

Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in food service environments.

Positive, professional demeanor with a commitment to guest service and team success.
