Job Description

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will have the authority to exceed guest expectations by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that aligns with our “we’ve been expecting you” sense of arrival. Your role is crucial as you will be your team's leader, teacher, and role model. You will guide your team to make business decisions focused on maintaining high standards in guest service while achieving key financial goals and performance metrics.

Key Focuses

• Ensure the restaurant, public areas, server stations, and storage areas are “picture perfect” for optimal first impressions.
• Provide direct reports with resources, guidance, coaching, and feedback for their ongoing development.
• Maintain high standards of guest service by monitoring staff, addressing guest concerns, and ensuring efficient service.
• Welcome guests promptly and courteously upon entering the restaurant.
• Develop extensive product knowledge about the menu and features, and be able to answer inquiries.
• Ensure the responsible service of food and alcohol, following all local and provincial health & safety, food handling, alcohol service, and video lottery terminal laws.

Experience, Passions, and Education

• Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in a serving position.
• Tech-savvy.
• Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
• ProServe certification is an asset but not required.

Working Conditions

This role may involve day, afternoon, or evening shifts, including weekends, with long days during busy periods or to meet deadlines. The environment is fast-paced and can be high-pressure, requiring physical movement, the ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and managing multiple tasks. There may be periods of independent work and temperature variations between the back and front of house.
