Job description

Food & Beverage Supervisor

The World Waterpark Food and Beverage Supervisor will assist in overseeing the operations of the Food and Beverage outlets and service in the Waterpark. This position will help ensure a positive working environment for employees and a safe, pleasant experience for our guests.

Primary Responsibilities :

1. Provide leadership and staff development to the Food & Beverage department through effective role modeling and coaching techniques.
2. Prepare, serve, and sell food and beverage items to guests.
3. Oversee and develop proper food preparation techniques to ensure top quality and efficient service times.
4. Ensure outlets adhere to cleanliness, liquor control, and safety standards, complying with health and liquor regulations at all times.
5. Address Food & Beverage and Waterpark customer service issues, public inquiries, and guest concerns in the absence of Waterpark Managers.
6. Plan and execute all Food & Beverage special events and catering functions to maximize revenue and control costs.
7. Manage inventory controls, establish stock rotation processes, and maintain accurate documentation.
8. Place and receive orders, ensuring stock levels are maintained appropriately.
9. Perform other duties as required.

Desired Qualifications :

1. Previous supervisory experience with strong knowledge of food preparation in casual service or fast-food environments.
2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with team building and mentoring abilities.
3. Culinary experience in casual service, concession, or fast-food settings is preferred.
4. Physical ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
5. Active ProServe and Food Safe certifications or willingness to obtain them.

Terms of Employment :

1. Full-time position requiring flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
2. Must pass a basic security clearance.
3. Ability to work in hot, humid environments near water and chlorine.
