Job description

THE DEPARTMENT

The mission of the Food and Beverage department is to provide a world-class food and beverage program.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a member of the Food and Beverage department, you will be part of the team responsible for curating and providing a world-class food and beverage program to our people. As a Barista, you will support in creating and serving quality beverages and specialty food items while engaging and inspiring our clients with your knowledge and passion of our coffee and café assortment. With your valuable contribution, the opportunities are endless — from a rewarding career in Food and Beverage to continued growth within Aritzia.

Please note: We have both part-time and full-time opportunities available. Part-time positions require a minimum of 16 hours per week. You must be available for shifts Monday through Friday between 6:30am and 5:30pm.

THE JOB

As the Barista, you will:

  1. Prepare specialty beverages and café items with consistent quality and efficiency
  2. Inform, engage and inspire our clients with superior knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and suppliers
  3. Uphold the optimal setup and management of kitchen spaces, supplies, and food items while minimizing impact to operations
  4. Support in managing beverage ingredients and café inventory to maximize efficiency and minimize food waste
  5. Maintain the condition and cleanliness of our spaces

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $20 - $25 CAD per hour. The final wage may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are always looking for top talent. If your qualifications differ, the scope of work and final wage may be adjusted accordingly.
