Starting Pay Rate: $56,000 to $65,000 annual salary, depending on qualifications


Job Description

  • Ensure all staff on the floor are meeting and exceeding Rimrock standards of guest satisfaction and service
  • Provide leadership, problem solving, and decision making in all areas of daily operations
  • Provide ongoing training, motivating, and supervision of staff
  • Handle guest requests and complaints and authorize compensation when necessary
  • Provide floor support when business levels require including seating guests, expediting food, preparing and serving beverages, conducting quality checks etc.
  • Work to achieve sales projections
  • Assist in creating work schedules within budget
  • Participate in menu and function planning
  • Attend weekly F&B department manager meetings
  • Complete office duties
  • Provide employee discipline when necessary and complete required documentation

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in an a la carte restaurant or lounge
  • Post-secondary education in hospitality / tourism in an asset
  • Alberta ProServe certification
  • Comfortable using MS Office, POS, and table-booking software
  • Knowledgeable in a variety of cocktails, liquor, wine, and beer
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
