Job Description

Salary Range - $58,000 - $60,000 per annum - pro-rated to tenure.

Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:

  1. Consistently offer professional, engaging, and friendly service.
  2. Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
  3. Liaise with the Director of F & B & the Executive Chef to ensure achievement of VOG, LQA, and Budget goals.
  4. Participate in the creation, implementation, and follow-up on action plans related to EES feedback.
  5. Collaborate with Restaurant Outlet Managers & Sous Chefs to ensure outlet goals are met.
  6. Communicate offerings effectively across all food and beverage outlets.
  7. Assist in developing menu packages to drive outlet business.
  8. Participate in departmental and team meetings, team-building, and other activities.
  9. Ensure VIP profiles and requests are communicated to the F & B & Kitchen teams.
  10. Manage allergy and special dietary requests communication.
  11. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
  12. Provide administrative support to F & B & Kitchen teams.
  13. Monitor and maintain payroll, vacation, and statutory holiday records.
  14. Manage employee files and ensure paperwork completion.
  15. Attend meetings as a minute-taker.
  16. Post and update information on communication boards and maintain these spaces.
  17. Develop and maintain positive working relationships between departments.
  18. Coordinate menu design and marketing efforts for printing and distribution.
  19. Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
  20. Adhere to vehicle handling and safety policies when driving hotel and guest vehicles.
  21. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  1. Knowledge of duties across all Front Office and Guest Services areas.
  2. Knowledge of F & B operations required.
  3. Proficiency in Opera PMS required.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel cannot assist with obtaining Canadian work authorization.
