Job Description

Salary Range - $58,000- $60,000, per annum - pro rated to tenure.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Consistently offer professional, engaging, and friendly service.
  2. Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
  3. Liaise with the Director of F&B & Executive Chef to ensure achievement of VOG, LQA, and Budget goals.
  4. Participate in creating, implementing, and following up on action plans related to EES feedback.
  5. Collaborate with Restaurant Outlet Managers & Sous Chefs to ensure outlet goals are met.
  6. Communicate offerings for all food and beverage outlets within the hotel.
  7. Assist in developing menu packages to drive outlet business.
  8. Participate actively in departmental meetings, team-building efforts, and activities.
  9. Ensure VIP profiles and requests are distributed to the F&B & Kitchen teams.
  10. Communicate allergy and dietary requests to relevant teams.
  11. Prepare reports as required (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
  12. Provide administrative support to F&B & Kitchen teams.
  13. Monitor payroll, vacation, and statutory holiday records.
  14. Manage employee files and ensure paperwork completion.
  15. Attend meetings as minute-taker.
  16. Update departmental information and maintain communication spaces.
  17. Foster constructive working relationships between departments.
  18. Coordinate menu design and marketing efforts.
  19. Follow safety and sanitation policies.
  20. Adhere to vehicle handling and safety policies when driving hotel and guest vehicles.
  21. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  1. Knowledge of all Front Office and Guest Services duties.
  2. Knowledge of F&B operations required.
  3. Proficiency in Opera PMS required.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel cannot assist with obtaining Canadian work authorization.
