Your role:
The general purpose of the Food & Beverage Attendant role is to keep all supplies and consumables in the lounge and kitchenettes stocked and ready for use. The role also involves occasional front of house service and requires a professional demeanor at all times. Responsibilities include lounge maintenance, cleanliness, catering, event setup/teardown, food service, and cleaning stations/light dishwashing.

Your responsibilities:

  • Stocking all supplies and consumables including drinks, snacks, coffee, teas, cutlery, napkins, condiments in the lounge and kitchenettes.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of lounge and kitchenettes.
  • Inventory management of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Organizing vendor deliveries in storage.
  • Assisting with setup, execution, and teardown of catering for office events.
  • Ensuring high-quality catering presentation for company events.
  • Plating and presenting catering for external guests – breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages.
  • Light bartending duties.
  • Cleaning coffee machines and preparation areas.
  • Assisting with cleanup after meals and events.
  • Providing assistance to Chef with lounge equipment and maintenance requests.
  • Supporting culinary team with food prep, cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
  • Executing menu setups, including breakfast and lunch service.

About you:

  • Self-motivated and passionate about hospitality and food service.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong multitasking skills.
  • Serving it right certification or willingness to obtain it.

Working conditions:

  • Physically demanding; ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and walk stairs.
  • Sharing space responsibly in a busy environment.
  • Work hours typically 9am-5pm, with some overtime for events.

Compensation: The pay range for this role in British Columbia is $45,000—$55,000 CAD annually, determined by experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, wellness, vacation, sick leave, parental programs, bonuses, RRSP matching, and subsidized meals for Vancouver-based employees.
