Mantra Lorne is located in the coastal town along the Great Ocean Road, spread across 12 acres of landscaped gardens, boasting undeniable beachfront accommodation offering heritage hotel rooms and modern one and two bedroom apartments. The Larder, on-site restaurant, offers daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all crafted from locally sourced ingredients.

Proudly housing the largest residential conference venue in regional Victoria, Mantra Lorne can host groups of up to 600 guests for bespoke corporate and private events.

There is plenty to do in your downtime, from exploring waterfalls, shipwrecks, and bushwalking; to having a game of tennis or golf; immersing yourself in art exhibitions and markets; or simply relaxing on the beach enjoying the afternoon sun.

The Role

  • Casual loading on all hourly rates! Base rate of $24.98. With Loadings: Monday - Friday $31.23ph, Saturday $37.47ph, Sunday $43.72ph and Public Holidays $62.45ph!

Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record in customer service within the hospitality sector
  • Proficiency in food & beverage protocols, encompassing table service, beverage expertise, event service and coffee crafting skills (strongly valued)
  • Adaptable within diverse food & beverage settings, with flexibility across different schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
  • Possession of a valid RSA or an equivalent qualification for the specific Country / State / Territory
  • Passion for engaging with patrons and collaborating within a team of diverse professionals
