You know how to throw a good party and make everyone feel special and welcome. In this key role, you will oversee steakhouse operations while providing management support in the dining room. You will also help attract and maintain guests by developing marketing assets on social and traditional media. You drive the success of our restaurant through promoting events and products, ensuring premier customer service, and maintaining product knowledge for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and demonstrate expert knowledge of upcoming events, products, and promotions.
• Ensure profitability of steakhouse operations by achieving financial and performance goals.
• Supervise shift operations, including all employee and guest-related functions.
• Motivate employees to provide excellent service and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Participate in training employees in food handling, service standards, and department procedures.
• Manage team efficiency based on operational needs.
• Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash-outs and sales reporting.
• Maintain policy and procedure compliance.
• Oversee cash management activities.
• Enforce Serving It Right and policies on alcohol service.

What You Bring

• Three years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, full-service fine dining restaurant or 4-star hotel, or equivalent education and experience.
• World Host/Super Host certification or similar customer service training.
• WHMIS training (preferred).
• Wine knowledge or experience as a Wine Steward (asset).
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet, and presentation software.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Goal-oriented and organized.
• High-level customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, punctual, efficient, and diligent.

Wage: $52,200
