We are searching for a permanent full-time Food & Beverage Manager to join our Faubourg du Mascaret team based in Moncton, New Brunswick.

About the Opportunity

  • Lead and manage the food services department, including meal preparation and supervising dietary staff
  • Oversee daily meal service and special events, ensuring individual dietary needs are met
  • Manage all food services staff
  • Build effective relationships with residents and families to assess needs, resolve concerns, and gauge satisfaction
  • Participate in budgeting processes for operations and capital
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and educating staff and other departments
  • Attend corporate and facility meetings as required
  • Ensure proper food preparation, delivery, and service by staff
  • Engage in Human Resources activities such as performance management, recruitment, and training
  • Manage workflow for food production, presentation, service, and cleanup
  • Maintain safety and sanitation standards in dining areas
  • Assist culinary team with special functions like catering and theme dinners
  • Perform other duties as assigned

About You

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • 2-3 years’ experience in food and beverage service industry
  • Leadership and management experience is a strong asset
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Passion for healthcare and senior services
