Cineplex is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Restaurants Host to welcome guests, manage reservations, and usher patrons to tables. You will coordinate between service and kitchen teams, answer reservation calls, and ensure a warm first impression while maintaining menu knowledge.

The role emphasizes clear communication, problem-solving, and a positive guest experience. A provincially required alcohol certificate is needed, with a student-oriented wage structure and flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and guest interaction.
• Provincial alcohol service certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record guest reservations and assign tables.
• Greet guests at the entrance and escort to seating areas.
• Be familiar with menu items; answer questions and upsell where appropriate.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address complaints.
• Process guest payments for food, beverages, and games as needed.

What you will do:Restaurants Hosts at Cineplex locations are an integral part of the teams committed to providing an exceptional experience to every guest. Their responsibilities include welcoming guests upon arrival, seating them at a table, and managing reservations. They must also ensure a warm and positive first impression, often by handling phone calls for reservations and assisting in coordination between the service and kitchen teams.
