The Role

AspenTech is seeking a Mobile Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key member of an Agile development team responsible for designing and implementing platform-native installation utilities that are critical for the successful deployment of AspenTech software to our customers. Your contributions will have a significant impact on the success and scalability of our software offerings.

Your Impact

As a Mobile Developer at AspenTech, you will develop and enhance mobile applications that support our software solutions, ensuring seamless deployment and user experience for our clients.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree with less experience.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture.
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Database: MongoDB, Postgres, MSSQL
• Programming Languages: Data
• Web Frameworks: Flutter
• Source Version Control: Git
• Continuous Integration: Jenkins, Github Actions, Gitlab pipelines
• Platforms: Windows and Linux
• Cloud Technologies: Azure, AWS; Docker, Kubernetes, Helm (desired)
• Observability and Monitoring
• Experience developing and delivering full-stack applications.
• Interest and experience in platform-based application development.
• Knowledge of agile development principles and continuous integration.
• Excellent project management skills; self-directed and effective under deadlines.
• Willingness to contribute ideas and solutions, supporting team collaboration.
• Ability to lead and guide technical team members to achieve project goals.
• Superior object-oriented design and debugging skills.
• Passion for creative problem-solving and pride in writing well-crafted code.
