Job summary

Job description

Our client, a major Oil and Gas company in Canada is looking to hire Fluid Volume Reporting Technician for a 12-month contract. The role is 4 days in office located in Calgary.

  • Retrieve and collate truck/pipeline tickets by company and date.
  • Enter 60-100 tickets daily into Energy Components (EC) system, ensuring accuracy.
  • Review tickets for missing information and verify source/destination of fluids.
  • Research missing data by consulting archives or contacting stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot data anomalies with Production Accountants and amend incorrect entries.
  • Compile and reconcile Third Party Disposal Reports and rig reports.
  • Ensure timely receipt of all truck tickets for month-end reporting.
  • Communicate with internal teams (Fluid Haul, Production Accounting, Environmental Operations) to ensure data accuracy.

Must have skills:
  • Experience with Energy Components and Well View.
  • Knowledge of SAGD operations and relevant regulatory directives.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Familiarity with Directive 7: Volumetric and Infrastructure Requirements.
  • Understanding of Directive 17: Measurement Requirements for Oil and Gas Operations.
  • Knowledge of Directive 42: Measurement, Accounting, and Reporting Plan.
  • Experience with Disposal Waste Manifests processes.
  • Familiarity with SAGD operations, including wells, pads, tanks, sumps, pits, berms, and battery codes.
