Join Our Fluevog Store Team in Halifax!

Our Fluevogologists are the heart and soul of our stores, and we’re excited to bring that spirit to Halifax! With its rich history, vibrant arts scene, and welcoming community, Halifax is the perfect place for Fluevog’s creativity and individuality. Be part of the team that introduces this city to our unique shoes, helping locals and visitors connect their unique souls with our soles through unforgettable customer experiences and bold self-expression.

Our stores are vibrant, welcoming spaces where individuality thrives and diverse personalities take center stage. As a Fluevogologist, you will support the Store Manager, champion the store and company’s values, and help connect customers with the shoes of their dreams. We are preparing to launch our newest store this summer and are looking for passionate sales associates to work at least one weekday, with flexible hours weekly.

Daily Responsibilities

1. Customer Service: Assist customers with purchases, providing solutions and exceptional service.
2. Community Engagement: Help connect customers to the Flumumunity through in-shop events and engagement efforts.
3. Sales: Drive personal and team sales goals.
4. Product Knowledge: Demonstrate confidence in product knowledge, suggest styles, and share shoe care tips.
5. Merchandising: Ensure shoes are well-presented and displays are tidy.
6. Payment Processing: Handle transactions accurately, assist with web orders, and offer sizing advice.

Necessary Skills and Abilities

• Availability to work weekends and at least one weekday per week (20-40 hours/week)
• Brand knowledge and a positive attitude
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Environmental responsibility and caring for the planet
• Patience, humor, and a fearless personal style
• Physical ability to perform store tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods

• Basic computer skills (Gmail, iOS, POS software)
• 1-3 years of sales experience

• Physical stamina for store duties
