Job summary

Skeena Gold + Silver Limited seeks a Mill Flotation Operator for Eskay Creek Mine site in British Columbia. The role monitors the flotation circuit, aids commissioning, and ensures safe, efficient operation during a 15 days on/13 days off camp schedule.

The ideal candidate has mineral processing experience, reads P&IDs, and works well with control room, metallurgy, and maintenance teams in a remote mining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary in mineral processing is an asset.
• Experience with mineral processing flotation circuits and DCS is required.
• Ability to read P&IDs, process diagrams, and safety documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate flotation circuit and monitor process conditions to maintain stability.
• Assist commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness activities.
• Coordinate with control room, metallurgy, maintenance, and instrumentation teams.
• Read operating procedures and develop hands-on competence for safe handover.
