Job description

Does the idea of creating fresh, top quality bouquets and floral arrangements have you in bloom? Are you an enthusiastic and motivated team player? If so, then this may be the perfect job opportunity for you! Our Esquimalt location is looking to welcome a new Part-Time Floral Clerk to our team! Our ideal candidate will bring their passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a “get the job done” attitude. Keep reading to know more!

Some of what you will do:

  • Create floral arrangements to display and sell
  • Provide customers with information needed to make flower and indoor/outdoor plant related decisions
  • Receive stock, face and rotate products
  • Ensure bouquets are fresh and full
  • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
  • Perform other duties as required

Education and Experience:

  • One year experience working in a garden center or floral department is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of both indoor and outdoor plant care is preferred
  • Previous customer experience is required
  • Previous cash handling experience is considered an asset
