Job summary

Applied Industrial Flooring in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage construction, industrial, and commercial flooring projects on site.

You will lead crews, read blueprints, plan schedules, coordinate materials, and ensure safety and quality while mentoring apprentices.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of supervisory experience, a valid drivers license, and be ready to work at the physical location with a team-based, results-driven approach.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year to less than 2 years of supervisory or site leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s licence is required.
• Experience with construction site supervision and coordinating subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workers and projects on site.
• Coordinate and schedule activities across teams.
• Oversee apprenticeship training programs.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Order materials, equipment and supplies as needed.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specs.
• Prepare project schedules and timelines.
• Plan and prepare work schedules for crews.
• Monitor safety conditions on site.
• Resolve conflicts between workers.
• Direct quality control inspections.
• Provide supervisory guidance and training.
• Maintain daily operation oversight.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities.
